BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Michigan – February 25, 2007
Ward Williston announced today the completion of its 2007 seismic recording program in the Williston Basin, North
Dakota.
Ward Williston contracted with Quantum Geophysical, Inc. to record both 2D and 3D seismic in Bottineau County, North Dakota. The seismic program consisted of 27 linear miles of 2D seismic and 11 square miles of 3D seismic. Ward Williston is the first oil company to complete a seismic program that connects the area on both sides of the Mouse River on the J. Clark Salyer wildlife refuge in its North Westhope field.
The seismic data will be processed over the next few months and it is anticipated that it will generate a number of drilling opportunities.
